Inpatient treatments are very predictable and clients have a lot of support, accountability, set schedules, and expectations. But what happens after treatment is over?
Sober living is one way that Reflections provides continued care to clients leaving inpatient therapy. It is a structured, predictable home environment that is free of drugs and alcohol — which are absolutely essential to maintaining recovery.

In other words, sober living is an option that is usually encouraged especially when clients leaving treatment don’t have a supportive, drug-free environment to come home to.
Reflections treats every client differently and according to their own unique needs. However, it is highly likely that sober living will be recommended. It is just another layer of support coupled with aftercare, intensive outpatient therapy, and 12-step meetings.
Transitioning out of inpatient into a society that lacks the structured elements of recovery can be detrimental to a recovering addict’s long-term success. Sober living provides an interim environment between Reflections inpatient and mainstream society. The vulnerability that people in early recovery is supported through the structure of sober living houses.
Reflection’s sober living houses are supportive and safe environment for addicts to begin a more normal life, free of addiction. There are many benefits to living in a sober living house in early recovery.
The first is that there is structure. Clients will be expected to attend 12-step meetings, abide by a curfew, prepare meals, maintain regular sleeping hours, and eventually look for work. There is a staff member on site at all times who ensures that the home is safe, clean and sober.
Additionally, there is accountability through random drug screenings.
There are two seperate sober living facilities owned and operated by Reflections. One is for males and the other for females. Each house is beautiful, modern, clean, and spacious. Each has a live-in manager/staff member who ensures clients are adhering to the rules.
After a foundation of recovery has been built in residential, sober living provides continued care.
One of the best advantages to residing in sober living is the community of support. These facilities are closely related to the main campus and are given therapeutic guidance and assistance long after inpatient has ended.
Additionally, each house is large enough to support several addicts/alcoholics in recovery. There will always be someone who can provide a listening ear, perspective, guidance, love and friendship. Residents of sober living develop healthy relationships that can encourage and reinforce their recovery.
